Students in the secondary school at VAS Hanoi started to focus on International Women’s Day a week before the 8th of March by preparing posters and presentations on significant women in Maths, Science and in the international community. Students learned about the women and the factors and challenges that led to their successes.
On Tuesday 7 March, a group of 34 girls from Year 6 to Year 11 and 3 teachers visited the Women’s Museum in Hanoi. The students investigated women in society, in fashion and in the history of Vietnam. Students enjoyed finding out about how women contribute to our society. It was a great morning and the students represented VAS Hanoi proudly.
