Recently, Year 9 students conducted a project in Maths, named “How to plan and collect data the right way”. In this project, students chose topics and then they had to form precise and specific questions to ask and get answers (data).
After that they used the data they collected and presented it using graphs/charts. The data was collected by interviewing students in different classes and grades randomly throughout the school.
This project brought many advantages to our students. They became more confident in giving their opinions and communicating with others. It enhanced different skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, presentation and teamwork.
