Mid-Autumn Festival, known as Tet Trung Thu in Vietnamese is one of the most important holidays of the year. Tet Trung Thu usually takes place on the 15th of August in the Lunar calendar.
On this occasion, families, especially children excitedly enjoy the lion dance on the streets, carry colourful lanterns of different sizes in the shapes of fish, stars, butterflies and try mooncakes, which are traditionally very rich in taste.
Mid-Autumn Festival at VAS Hanoi this year also provided its students an amazing and happy experience. Our little students decorated their classrooms and school with hundreds of handmade lanterns, learned how to make moon cakes and experienced traditional games together.
