The Cambridge International Program

The Cambridge International program is an option for students with an English background, designed to offer international integration and cross-cultural experiences through learning with native teachers. This scientifically designed program integrates both the Vietnamese High School program and the Cambridge International program, approved by the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring a seamless pathway for all students.

Specialised Education Program (SEP)
 
Benefiting from the English training program at VAS Hanoi for the past 16 years, along with a team of experienced teachers, the SEP System meets the needs of students with comprehensive learning abilities by implementing the MOET program to enhance students' skills. It focuses on improving students' proficiency in Math, Literature, and English to meet individual requirements for entrance exams at comprehensive schools, state schools, and high-ranking institutions. This includes preparation for important exams tailored to individual learning goals, such as entrance exams for specialized high schools and top universities.
 

MOET Program Cambridge Program Curriculum activities and Extra program Number of students

The MOET program entails:

- Increasing the coverage of Math, Literature, and English subjects by 100-120%, encompassing all levels and subjects, in the combined tests for high school students.
- Providing guidance for enrollment exams, entrance exams, and applications to high-ranking institutions and universities.

The program duration constitutes nearly 30% of the total curriculum, with 3 periods allocated for international teachers and 8 periods for Vietnamese teachers. There is an emphasis on increasing grammar practice time, with 25% dedicated to listening and speaking, and 75% to grammar, reading, and writing. Additionally, there is an IELTS exam preparation program available for high school students. -Some programs at VAS Hanoi are scientifically and innovatively designed to meet the requirements of the new era. These include:

STUDENT CLASSIFICATION BY LEVEL AND BY COMBINED TESTS


● Students are classified according to their knowledge in both the Vietnamese program (grade V) and the English program (grade A), from which each student can learn and develop in the most suitable environment.
● Classrooms for all subjects, creating a scientific foundation for learning, training, and innovating methods.

 

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND EXPERIENCES
 

- Four annual special extracurricular activities in the fields of Arts - Sports - English - STEM.
 
- Dozens of subject experience activities and specific interdisciplinary subjects/school years.
 
- Practical experience for future career orientation.
 
- Specific clubs and activities of the Student Council.
 
- Psychological counselling activities and mental health care events.
 
Activities associated with the curriculum help students practise applying knowledge to solve real-life situations, promoting students' creativity and initiative.

The program is built concentrically and gradually, then expanded across grade levels in accordance with the physiological and psychological characteristics of students, shown in the following contents:
