A. Position Details

• Position: 01 Teaching Assistant – Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme
• Employment Type: Flexible (Full-time or Part-time), as agreed between the School and the candidate
• Start Date: Academic Year 2025–2026 (August 2025)

B. Job Description

Work directly with foreign teachers during Cambridge Programme lessons.

1. Teaching Support
   ● Assist students with classwork to ensure all students are engaged and understand the lesson content
   ● Support teachers in preparing and maintaining learning materials for students (including vocabulary lists with translations, visual aids/diagrams, definitions, examples, etc.)
   ● Preview lessons to ensure thorough and effective preparation

2. Classroom Management
   ● Help maintain classroom discipline and encourage a positive learning attitude
   ● Supervise students during group work, discussions, and presentations
   ● Record and report students’ academic performance or behavioral notes to lead teachers when necessary

3. Communication and Collaboration
   ● Maintain regular communication with lead teachers regarding student progress, concerns, and ideas for improvement
   ● Assist in organizing extracurricular activities or cross-disciplinary projects (especially in Global Perspectives)
   ● Participate in English department meetings and professional development sessions
   ● Join coordination meetings with international and Vietnamese teaching staff

4. Other Tasks Assigned by the School
   ● Provide academic support during club time (e.g., Cambridge Math Club)
   ● Assist with school events and activities as needed

C. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related fields
• Proficiency in English
•  Understanding of the Cambridge Programme is an advantage (ESL, Science, Global Perspectives)
• Good communication skills, patience, and a passion for working with lower secondary students
• Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and flexibility in classroom settings
• Ability to use Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Classroom, Calendar, etc.)
• Responsibility and enthusiasm at work
• Preferred: Experience in teaching or assisting in the Cambridge Programme
