From the youngest preschoolers joyfully coloring the red-and-gold flag with crayons, to the Primary students passionately crafting vibrant national flags in their art lessons. At the Secondary level, students relived the heroic moments of history through lessons about September 2, 1945 – the day the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was proclaimed, a shining milestone in the nation’s journey of independence and nation-building.

The spirit of patriotism extended beyond the pages of books, coming alive through lively flashmob dances and joyful songs celebrating the homeland and the nation. The international teaching staff at VAS Hanoi joined in every activity alongside the students. Despite coming from different countries, the teachers donned the red-and-gold colors of the national flag, raised their voices in song, danced together, and celebrated this important national occasion with the same heartfelt emotion as Vietnamese citizens. Vietnam became a second homeland, and VAS Hanoi a shared home – a place where love, connection, and the spirit of unity are embraced and spread widely.

During these special days, VAS Hanoi truly became a living picture: the vibrant colors of the national flag, triumphant music, sacred history, and a burning love for the homeland. All of these elements blended together, creating an atmosphere of unity and pride, reminding each of us of the value of independence and freedom, as well as our responsibility to preserve and build the nation today and for generations to come.
