Amid the vibrant atmosphere of the “Welcome Spring – Calligraphy Ceremony” program, teachers and students of the Vietnam–Australia School System Hanoi officially kicked off 2026 with renewed energy and a spirit ready for breakthrough achievements. Smiles, New Year handshakes, and eager eyes came together to create a truly emotional and inspiring morning.

The highlight of the program was the solemn Spring Calligraphy ritual. In the presence of the entire staff, teachers, and students, the Board of Directors, School Management Board, Advisory Council, International Program Management, and student representatives joined hands to write the message of the new year:

“VAS Hanoi – Galloping Strong for Thousands of Miles – Aspiring to Reach Far.”

This was not a single stroke of an individual pen, but the collective will of an entire community. The New Year message conveys aspirations for resilience, courage, and steadfast determination on the journey to conquer new goals.

“Chí Mã” symbolizes endurance and the relentless will to move forward. The road ahead may be long and filled with challenges, but as long as each person keeps the faith and refuses to give up, even small steps can take us great distances. United in purpose, the collective becomes a strength greater than any limitation.

In her speech at the ceremony, Ms. Vũ Thuỳ Hương – Principal of the Secondary & High School of Vietnam–Australia Hanoi, shared her heartfelt message with students: “Teachers hope that each of you will become a ‘strong horse’ on your own journey: setting clear goals, striving tirelessly, and never losing heart in the face of challenges. More importantly, you are never alone on that journey. Behind you are your teachers, friends, and the entire school community walking alongside you.”

Her words were not only a New Year message but also a commitment from the school to accompany every student on their journey of growth, knowledge exploration, and personal development.

The year 2026 has officially begun with a spirit of steadfast determination, resilience, and bold aspiration. From today’s first calligraphic strokes of the year, teachers and students look forward with confidence to a year of effort, creativity, and breakthrough achievements—where each individual can become a better version of themselves and together create proud milestones as VAS Hanoi celebrates its 20th anniversary with fresh momentum and new successes.
