This year's theme is special as the essence of the Old Quarter seems to be brought to VAS Hanoi, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of a traditional Tet with its unique cultural features. It is also an opportunity for every VASer to reflect on the beauty of tradition while exploring and cherishing the meaning of time—the precious gift that spring brings.

This year's Spring Festival is not only filled with fun and entertainment but also offers a chance for everyone to experience traditional cultural values, fostering a strong sense of community in a warm, joyful space filled with laughter and happiness.

Right from the opening ceremony, the Spring Festival atmosphere became lively and vibrant with a series of captivating performances. Kicking off the program was a graceful Áo Dài showcase, featuring students from preschool to secondary levels. The young students, dressed in traditional Áo Dài, radiated the elegance and charm of spring, leaving the audience in awe and excitement.

Following this delightful start, mesmerizing dance performances by preschool and primary students further enlivened the hall. Their graceful movements and joyful expressions blended seamlessly with the rhythms of spring, filling the space with energy, happiness, and festive cheer.

One of the most remarkable activities of the Spring Festival is Bánh Chưng wrapping. Teachers, grandparents, parents, and VASers come together to carefully craft beautifully shaped Bánh Chưng while sharing stories about this iconic dish—a symbol of filial piety, unity, and deep respect for tradition and ancestors.

The Ất Tỵ Spring Festival is also a wonderful opportunity for families and VASers to bond through traditional folk games rich in cultural heritage. Among the most beloved activities is Ném Còn, where teams compete to skillfully toss fabric balls through a target. Each precise throw ignites cheers and excitement from enthusiastic spectators, making the atmosphere even more vibrant.

Equally captivating is Ô Ăn Quan, a traditional strategy game that challenges both skill and intellect. VASers and teachers engage in friendly matches, not only for relaxation but also to learn and strengthen their sense of teamwork through each calculated move on the game board.

This year, the VAS Hanoi Spring Festival has created a warm, joyful, and deeply meaningful atmosphere. The moments of happiness and togetherness shared during the festival will become cherished memories, enriching everyone’s spirit and fostering a greater appreciation for the nation’s rich cultural traditions.
