During the Preliminary Round, the Judges had an intense week of work selecting the most promising teams. Most of the submitted videos demonstrated thorough preparation, sharp thinking, strong logical reasoning, and well-structured debate strategies. With further practice, these teams are expected to become formidable opponents, bringing plenty of surprises and excitement to the upcoming rounds.

Sharing from Phó Đức Nam Dương – a member of team D.B.N (Secondary), one of the 24 Quarterfinalist teams: “The topic our team chose was We would support Social Media become the primary source of information. We selected this topic because it is highly relevant – while social media can democratize information, encourage public engagement, and foster the exchange of ideas, it also poses risks such as misinformation, manipulation, and lack of verification. To prepare for the next round, our team plans to continue practicing by meeting directly or via Zoom, focusing on developing our arguments, rebuttals, and role distribution. We will do our best to get ready for the upcoming challenge.”
