Today, the entire world feels as though it has been encapsulated within VAS Hanoi, where students, parents, and teachers embark on a cultural journey together. International Day at VAS Hanoi truly became the "perfect destination" for those with a passion for travel and a love for exploring the diverse cultures of the world.
“Each year, the festival brings something new. You don’t have to travel far—just come to this event, and you’ll learn so many fascinating things about different countries!” shared Minh Anh from class 5A1.
The classes put in great effort to prepare for International Day, not only through handcrafted creations but also in every detail of the decorations representing the countries they were assigned. The unique characteristics of each class were showcased beautifully, creating a colorful and imaginative panorama at the International Festival.
From the Taj Mahal in India to the Pyramids in Egypt, each country boasts impressive landmarks that tell stories of rich history and culture.
Beyond these iconic sites, our world is home to many fascinating wildlife species. Imagine vibrant macaw parrots flying over the tropical rainforests of Brazil, or giant elephants strolling across the savannahs of Tanzania. Each species plays a unique role in the ecosystem, contributing to the beauty of our planet.
“What a wonderful way to explore the vibrant cultures we’ve been learning about! Today, we also get to admire the creativity of all the VASers through the handcrafted products and projects they’ve worked on throughout the week,” shared Mr. Kyle MacDougall, Primary School International Program Manager, about the festival.
International Week is a journey of learning to love, appreciate, and preserve nature alongside our wild animal friends. Today, VASers have become global citizens, ready to connect with the vast world around them.
