Tiny hands glided across the keys, guiding the audience through a rich musical journey – at times gentle, at others energetic – but always authentic and full of personal expression.

Arts Education – An Essential Part of Holistic Student Development

At VAS Hanoi, artistic development and musical appreciation are emphasized from the Primary level as a key component of a well-rounded education. Our school has crafted a diverse, age-appropriate music program designed to nurture both skills and soul:

• Grades 1–3: Introduction to piano as a foundational instrument, helping students develop pitch sensitivity, coordination, and patience.

• Grades 4–5: Recorder lessons to enhance breath control, rhythm, and group collaboration.

Alongside instrumental practice, students also explore vocal music, stage presence, emotional expression, and public performance skills.

Through these arts subjects, VAS Hanoi aims to provide every student with opportunities to discover and nurture their unique talents, while cultivating a rich inner world, an appreciation for beauty, and the ability to express themselves confidently and positively.
