Stepping into the festival, teachers, parents, and students were taken on a “spring journey” across the three regions of the country. From the soft pink blossoms of Northern peach flowers, the radiant yellow apricot blossoms of the South, to the gentle and heartfelt charm of the Central region, everything blended harmoniously into a complete and emotional spring picture. The Spring Festival was not merely a celebration, but a journey for every VASer to welcome Tet with joy and pride.

The theme “The Colors of Spring Across Three Regions – Galloping Ambition to Soar Far” was thoughtfully woven throughout the program as a meaningful New Year message. The image of the “galloping horse” symbolizes strength, perseverance, and constant forward movement—representing the determination, resilience, and aspiration of every VAS Hanoi student on their journey of learning and growth. It also reflects the spirit the school strives to nurture: confidence and courage, preserving traditional values while always being ready to integrate and break through in the future.

Ms. Quach Minh Huong, Principal of Vietnam–Australia Primary School Hanoi, emphasized:
“The Spring Festival is not only an occasion for VASers to have fun and gain experiences, but also an opportunity for each student to deepen their love for Vietnamese culture, take pride in our traditions, and carry those beautiful values along their journey of growing up.”
A special highlight of this year’s festival was an excerpt from the traditional tuong (classical Vietnamese opera) “The Old Man Carrying His Wife to the Festival,” performed by artists from the Vietnam National Traditional Theatre. With lively, humorous yet profound acting, the performance transported the audience back to the atmosphere of a traditional village festival—simple, intimate, yet rich in humanity. More than just an impressive artistic showcase, it was also a valuable opportunity for students to experience traditional stage art firsthand—an essential part of Vietnam’s cultural heritage preserved and promoted through generations.

“The school would like to express our sincere gratitude to the artists of the Vietnam National Traditional Theatre for bringing us a performance that was not only artistically remarkable but also rich in cultural value, allowing VAS Hanoi students to truly connect with the soul of our nation through the most genuine emotions,” Ms. Quach Minh Huong shared after the performance.

The Binh Ngo Spring Festival 2026 concluded in joy, radiant smiles, and countless memorable moments. From hand-wrapped banh chung, lively folk games, to culturally rich artistic performances, everything contributed to a truly fulfilling spring season at VAS Hanoi. Spring is not only a transition of the earth and sky, but also the starting point for new dreams and aspirations. With the spirit of “Galloping Ambition to Soar Far,” teachers and students of VAS Hanoi are ready to step into the new year with confidence, resilience, and pride in Vietnamese values.
