Amid the warm and heartfelt setting, the image of teachers shone beautifully. They are the ones who silently pour their dedication into every lesson, every lesson plan, every word of encouragement. The flame of knowledge and love for their profession has never faded — instead, it continues to burn brightly, lighting the way for generations of students to grow, gain confidence, and dare to dream.

Nearly 20 years ago, when VAS Hanoi was taking its very first steps, Madam Đồng Thị Lan – Chairwoman of the School Council – carried within her a simple yet deeply meaningful dream: to build a school that embraced international integration while preserving the essence of Vietnamese identity. Looking back on that journey, she shared emotionally at the ceremony:“Nearly 20 years ago, when I founded VAS Hanoi, I believed that what keeps a school standing strong is the heart of its teachers. And today, seeing the projects and initiatives — the fruits of teachers’ silent efforts — I believe that more than ever.”

Every word she spoke conveyed pride and deep gratitude for those who have shaped the school’s spirit — the teachers, who each day instill in their students love, responsibility, and the aspiration for a better future.

The atmosphere of appreciation grew even deeper as Ms. Vũ Thuỳ Hương — Principal of VAS Hanoi Secondary & High School — shared her sincere thoughts:“Even as we enter the era of technology and artificial intelligence, VAS Hanoi remains steadfast in its learner-centered philosophy, renewing itself from the smallest, most heartfelt, and most meaningful details. On this occasion of 20/11, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all teachers. May we continue to keep alive the spirit of creativity, dedication, and inspiration that defines VAS Hanoi — always giving our best for our students.”

Her words were not only a tribute to teachers but also a gentle reminder of the core values that VAS Hanoi upholds: education is not merely the transmission of knowledge, but the act of inspiring, empowering, and nurturing the soul.

This year’s 20/11 celebration was also an opportunity for students to express their gratitude through heartfelt performances. The stage was illuminated not only by lights and melodies, but by sincerity — in every song, every message, and every bright smile directed toward their teachers. Those who keep the school standing strong received the most sacred of gifts: gratitude.

Representing the entire student body, Phạm Trường Thành (5A3) and Quách Bảo Chi (11A1V1) shared their heartfelt message:“We feel incredibly lucky and proud to be students of VAS Hanoi, where each school day is filled with love and the devoted guidance of our teachers. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all teachers — those who light up our dreams and give us the strength to grow day by day. We promise to continue striving so as not to disappoint you, and to become compassionate, courageous, and kind-hearted individuals.”

Beyond classroom teachers, VAS Hanoi also extends sincere thanks to all staff members who tirelessly contribute to creating a complete and caring learning environment: office staff, specialists, security, cleaners, service teams, administrative officers, finance, communications, and admissions. Each person, through their work, has helped build a humane, kind, and loving VAS Hanoi.
