Trong tháng 11/2009, trường Phổ thông Việt-Úc Hà Nội đón nhận 3 nữ sinh trường PLC Sydney (Jacqueline Smith, Anna Roberts and Alice Birbara); sang trao đổi học sinh. Dưới đây là những chia sẻ của bạn Jacqueline về những kỉ niệm trong thời gian ở Việt-Úc Hà Nội.`i` "The past six weeks that I have spent at VAS Hanoi have been the most memorable and enjoyable weeks of my life. have learnt so much about a country full of life that I had never seen or heard much about before and some of the culture I witnessed was unbelievable. Every day I discovered something new and exciting about Vietnamese culture and just how different it is from Australia. The people here at VAS were extremely understanding and welcoming to me and it was fantastic to be accepted into their classes to see how a Vietnamese school functioned. The teachers here were also very accommodating and I really enjoyed participating in all the activities they put forward. I have also really loved teaching in the primary school. My host family was one of the loveliest families I have ever met and I was so privileged to have the opportunity to live with them for six weeks. They took me to some incredible places including beautiful Halong Bay and the fascinating residence of the artist Thanh Chuong. I have also enjoyed the exquisite Vietnamese cuisine both home-cooked and at some of Hanoi’s great restaurants. Overall this trip has been incredible.
